This table tent maker turns a plain list of labels into a print-ready PDF of folded standing signs — two per portrait US Letter sheet, larger than place cards so they read across a room. Each sign prints its label on both halves: right-side up on the lower half and rotated 180° on the upper half, so once you fold it the label reads correctly from either direction. They're built for buffet and dish labels, reserved signs, station names, and table numbers. Add a comma after a label for a smaller second line — an allergen note, a family name, a description. Long labels shrink to fit so they never spill past the edge.
How to make table tents in three steps

Why one half prints upside down
A table tent folds in half and stands like a peak so it faces both directions at once. To make the label readable from both sides, the upper half is printed rotated 180°. When you fold the sign down along the center crease, that half swings to the back and the label lands right-side up again — the two halves are mirror images across the fold. Flat it looks upside down; folded and standing it's correct from either side.

Printing & folding
Print at 100% / “actual size” on plain paper or cardstock; cardstock stands up far better for a sign. Turn on the faint cut guides if you'd like a boundary to cut along. Cut the sheet in half between the two tents, then fold each along the faint horizontal crease down its middle. Scoring the fold first gives a crisper peak.
