Free recipe card maker
This tool lays your recipe out on index-card-sized cards to print and cut. Type a title, list the ingredients, and number the steps; the tool puts ingredients down the left and instructions down the right, the standard recipe-card layout. It fills the sheet with copies of the same recipe, so you get several cards to keep or hand out.
Choose 4 × 6 for more room or 3 × 5 to fit a recipe box. The optional back prints lined for notes, or blank.
Using the tool
Fill in the title, put one ingredient per line, and one step per line. Pick a card size and whether the back is lined, blank, or left off. The preview updates as you type; click Download PDF.
Printing and the back
- Print at 100% scale.
In the print dialog — the window that opens when you choose Print — set Scale to 100% or "Actual size" so the cards stay 4×6 or 3×5. - For a two-sided card, print double-sided.
Turn on double-sided (duplex) printing so the lined or blank back lands behind each front. Skip this if you chose "No back." - Use cardstock and cut along the borders.

FAQ
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup and no login — open the page and use it.
Can I fit a long recipe?
Longer ingredient and instruction lists fit better on the 4×6 size. Very long recipes may run past the card; trim wording or switch to 4×6.
Does my data leave my browser?
No. The cards are built locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Once the page has loaded you can work offline.
