Free spice jar label maker for 2.5″ round sheets

This tool turns a pasted list of spice names into a print-ready PDF laid out for Avery 5294 round labels — 3 columns by 4 rows, 12 round labels to a portrait US Letter page. Each name is centered on a 2.5″ circle with an optional line beneath it. More than twelve names flow onto as many sheets as needed; a partial last sheet leaves the rest blank. Long names shrink to stay inside the circle.

How to make spice jar labels in three steps

  1. Paste your spice names, one per line, into the box.
  2. Set the line under the name if you want one, such as Organic or a date.
  3. Click Generate PDF, then print it on Avery 5294 round sheets at 100% scale.

Avery 5294 compatibility

The layout uses the published Avery 5294 geometry — a 2.5″ circle in a 2.5″ cell, a 0.21″ side margin, a 0.425″ top margin, a 0.25″ gap between columns, and a 0.015″ gap between rows — so each name lands on a die-cut circle. It fits Avery 5294 and its same-size sibling 5194, plus other-brand sheets sold as 2.5″ round labels, 12 per sheet. The cut guide shows the square around each circle, which doubles as a placement guide. If your printer registers a little high or left, the calibration fields shift every label together by a fraction of an inch.

FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. There is no signup and no login — open the page and use it.

Are the labels round?

Yes. Each label is a 2.5″ circle, 12 to a sheet. The text is centered so it clears the curved edge.

Which Avery numbers does it fit — 5294, 5194?

Both. Those part numbers are the same 2.5″ round label in different finishes, so the layout fits Avery 5294 and 5194 — plus any sheet sold as compatible with that size.

Does my data leave my browser?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser. The names you paste and the finished PDF are created on your device — there is no server to upload to, and nothing is stored or sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, you can even use it offline.
