Free Open / Closed sign for a shop door
This makes a two-page PDF: OPEN in green on the first page, CLOSED in red on the second, each with your hours and an optional message. Print both pages, put them back to back in a window, and flip the sheet to change the sign. It's the printable version of the plastic sign that hangs on a shop door.
Using the tool
Type your hours, one line per line — the same hours show on both sides. Add a custom message for the bottom if you want one. The preview shows the OPEN side; the CLOSED side is the second page. Click Download PDF.
Printing it double-sided
- Print at 100% scale.
In the print dialog — the window that opens when you choose Print — set Scale to 100% or "Actual size" so the border isn't cropped. - Print both pages, then place them back to back.
Either print double-sided (duplex) on one sheet, or print the two pages and tape them together facing opposite ways. - Face it out and flip to switch.
Put it in the window with one side showing; turn the sheet around to show the other.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup and no login — open the page and use it.
Can I leave the hours off?
Yes. Clear the hours box for a plain OPEN / CLOSED sign with no times.
Does my data leave my browser?
No. The sign is built locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Once the page has loaded you can work offline.
